The Skil belt sander model 7500 can do just as good a job at sanding as one of the more expenxive brands for a lot less from your wallet.Skil Belt Sander Model 7500

This is not your bulky and awkward belt sander of days gone by. It has a lightweight, nimble and comfortable feel in your hands making this sander a good start right out of the box.

Designed to use the more popular 3"x 18" belt size, and backed up by a powerful 6 amp motor, this sander has the power and speed to get the job done without losing control on your work surface.Skil Belt Sander Against Wall

The model 7500 has the hand grips offset to the left to enable up close right sided sanding as well. The control of the sander is not sacrificed in order to gain the visiblity that this feature allows.

With the ergonomic design and the simple easy lock-on button the model 7500 sander makes the long sanding jobs a snap.

Some great features that Skil has added is the simplicity of changing belts and the track adjustment of new belts. With the patented Skil auto track belt alignment your belt stays centered and won't slip off.Skil Belt Sander Vacuum Attachment

They have also provided an attached dust collection system that can be used by itself or with a shop vacuum attachment connected to a 1 1/2" OD shop vac hose.

Both collection systems work very well although the provided dust collection attachment is small.

The Skil 7500 belt sander is covered by a 1-year warranty and can be bought at several retail outlets and online stores for an average price of around $50.00.
