We have a few thoughts about Dewalt planers that we are going to share with you in this article.

To start we are going to discuss the Dewalt DW735 Thickness Planer. This benchtop tool is used for most of the standard size planing projects in your workshop or on the jobsite.

We will then finish out by looking at the Dewalt DW60K Hand Planer Kit. This portable handheld planer is for the many smaller odd planing chores such as fixing that old door that drags on the carpet.

Our Conclusion

Both of these Dewalt planers seem to be very well built.

Their overall performance is good and the features on each tool are rated well.

Though Dewalt tends to be a bit more expensive than the competition I don't think that it is wasted money.

It seems as though Dewalt has produced some more winners and if you look at some of the feedback about these two planers on Amazon alone you will find much of it is positive.
