Bosch Table Saws

The Jobsite Ready Table Saws

Of the three model choices for the Bosch table saws we thought we would take a look at the 4100DG-09.

Now quite honestly this is the same model as the 4100 and the 4100-09. The only difference is this model has some extras "included" so to speak.Bosch Table Saw

Extras such as the digital measuring display for the rip fence and the patented Gravity-Rise™ saw stand.

Both of these features can be upgraded on the other two table saw models.

The large pneumatic tires that are a part of the Gravity-Rise™ saw stand make the portability of this line of Bosch table saws a winner in our book.

Easy setup and breakdown make it easy for you to get to and from the jobsite.

This is time that can be better spent using these tools instead of setting them up and breaking them down.

Table Saw Review

Bosch Table SawProsCons
  • Great portability
  • Plenty of power
  • Compact - makes storage easy
  • Blade guard system is cumbersome
  • Some difficulty in keeping rip fence secure
  • Rip fence can sometimes get out of square

It seems as though this particular table saw has some good and bad qualities.

Obviously it may not be as accurate as a higher end wood shop table saw, but keep in mind that it is a portable jobsite saw.

That being said, I think overall this is a reliable and dependable table saw.

And, as I've mentioned elsewhere on this site, every Bosch tool I have ever used has never let me down.
